There's a Party on Top of The World

There’s a moment where one teeters between rational behavior, like hitting the road while the light’s still shining, and spur of the moment spontaneity, like clinging with one hand to the outside of a late-night cable car up Hyde and down to Powell, attempting to shoot images of a twinkling Bay Bridge and Transamerica Pyramid with the other, hoping the phone doesn’t slip out of the hand and beneath the metal wheels, and relishing the exuberance of a freezing, but ecstatic, young lady on her first cable car ride in The City by the Bay.

Boy am I glad I chose the latter.
